What!!! on your Work Desk Wednesday is here again!!
Apparently our desks were stars on UK TV.
I can't handle so much publicity!! LOL
I can't believe how many of you zoomed in on my dinner last week,
sitting so innocently and out of sight on my desk. hahahaha, it probably made you all hungry. It was Kingsley Chicken and chips and gravy
I can't seem to keep a clean desk tidy for very long, can you?? No sooner do I turn my back then they all march  back onto my work space again. I am finding treasures I have ahem 'lost' though.
This is my dining room/table

I got sick of that corner behind me so took drastic measures.
Where did all the stuff go?
Temporarily to my bed hahahaha so I have to sleep  in the spare room tonight. Well I had another ulterior motive to clean up, a wonderful and gorgeous craft friend is coming around on Friday to stamp, laugh and have fun and maybe stamp hahahaha, we do more laughing and talking and eating, don't we Cynthia? (That's why I have to clean up-Cynthia told me I didn't have to clean up, little does she know how full my table is), hopefully Celina can come too
It has been teaming down with rain so its a good thing I have some indoor activity, I have chosen not to have the tv on and its so peaceful listening to the stream out the back gushing with the overflow of water and the trees rustling, awaiting another 100mm/4inches of rain today.
At least my computer is  back where it should be. In case you are wondering what that white bucket is doing under the desk, well thats my footstool lol, my legs are too short! And how many of you have noticed I seem to have food on my desk at the time of photo taking?
Grey laser printer is on the floor and black ink jet printer is on the desk to the left.
Spellbinders is also asking us to brave the show and tell and tag them on our blogs in facebook.
I have definitely found stuff I had 'lost' so its a good feeling to do this, once every 5 years lol

Beautiful Waterfall

Caught this bubbling double waterfall at Mt Tambourine on the Gold Coast Hinterland just as you enter the Glow Worm Caves. I must say the Glow Worms were such an amazing feature and natural phenomenon. The cave was made specially for them with climate control and started out with 100 glow worms and have now multiplied to tens of thousands. They catch the insects everyday to feed them. Unfortunately we weren't able to take photos inside the cave.

Here's a poem:

I wish I was a glow worm,
A glow worm's never glum.
'Cos how can you be grumpy
When the sun shines out your bum!!

Friday Fences #22

As you can see this Water Dragon is on this side of the fence.
His name is Warwick, named after Warwick Capper
For the Australians who follow football, he was named after him
because Warwick the Water Dragon is a showoff
and always poses for photos, I was only a foot away
from him when I took this photo.
As you can see hubby stayed on the other side of the
fence to Warwick as he raced away from me,
I can just read what was on Warwick's mind as he raced off
(only one photo for you, lady-KISS MY A**E)

Million dollar boats, cruisers you name it.
Walking by all these boats just felt
like the air was dripping in money, some of them were spectacular
hmmmmm wish, wish, wish
I did live on a yacht for a weekend, couldn't find my feet when I came

WOYWW #141

What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday is here again.
And guess what, one WOYWW last week posted that this phenomenon was in the March Edition of Craft Stamper, so I asked Mrs Dunnit and she kindly confirmed that to me woohoo our desks are famous now I know why our membership grew to a magnificent number and made me put my running shoes on.
I've not had anything on my desk to share because I haven't crafted since I got some devastating news, my mojo went straight out the window. At the same time we heard about
Whitney Houston's passing, so double whammy.
But I did get something in the mail from a fellow WOYWW that put a sparkle in my week.
Thank you Carol C, you have no idea how much your card brightened up my week,
especially the sentiments inside
THE MOST SPECIAL THING ABOUT THIS CARD......IS THE PERSON HOLDING IT
I burst into tears, it was such a touching gesture that came when I needed it most.
She also sent me some altoid tins to alter, I cant believe she remembered that I loved these tins from an online group we were on from a long time ago.
Also on my desk is a printout of a music sheet, I think I got from another WOYWW's recommendation
Carol's card with the touching sentiment.
THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART

Because there is nothing on my craft side of the desk I'll show you the other side, the social side LOL decked out with 1 TV, 1 laptop and a second screen, to the right of me is the kitchen, behind me is the toilet, so what more can a crafter ask for LOL

We had a multicultural festival on the weekend and I saw this which my daughter Emma alerted me to when she saw it at the Adelaide festival.
Chips on a stick, quiet yummy and quite expensive for one potato but I can say I tasted it
And I went through each and every 200 desk and commented, just in the nick of time and welcome to all the newbies that have dared to show us their spaces.

ok this just arrived so I do have something crafty to show, my new Saleabration goodies arrived,
maybe my mojo will be in that stash too

Hop over to Julia's Stamping Ground to see more creative desks
There was no comment button on #200 Sian Evans, sorry Sian I couldnt leave a comment for you.
I have also chosen not to comment on blogs that aren't playing WOYWW but using it to gain traffic for their own advertising-my way of protesting this unethical behaviour.

EDIT: After posting this I got some even more unpleasant news, so if any of you have good news to share, it's probably better than mine.

Christmas Card Challenge #19 and Sparkles Anything Goes Christmas

Hopefully by participating in this challenge now, I will have 52 Christmas cards ready for this year, ok I started late, but those of you who know me and my production line, know that I may catch up.
I used Stampin Up Cherry Cobbler cardstock as the base
Patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye  Lost & Found Christmas and edged with Cherry Cobbler ink
Stamp is from Stamp-It Australia
Spellbinders Floral Doily Motifs SKU: S5-041 was cut out of kraft cardstock

Friday Fences #20

This was taken on our recent holiday to
Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Queensland.
Our hotel is to the left outside the picture. This hotel is called Skypoint-probably the tallest building here.  I wanted to go up but I wasn't in the best of health so will take a raincheck. It boasts 360 degree views and looks awesome. The fence at the bottom of the photo is very crude, you can see a wooden one and a steel one, one would think that this being a touristy place, that they would make the fence similar or neat at least.
But alas it is such a laid back society up north, everyone accepts it!!
If you'd like to see more exotic fences around the world run over to Jan's place

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday # 140
I've been doing so much crafting this last week, my desk has been changing everyday
and I have forgotten to take photos at each stage LOL,
anyway this is part of  what I've been up to:
Punchies in plastic baggies ready to make my flowers that
are coming out my ears LOL (Last week when I made all those flowers,
my largest punch decided to die, so I had to find an alternative one and found
Donna Salazar's which is awesome)
Left basket are class cards ready to go as well as stamps to be used
Two cards I've done for challenges (scroll down to see all the challenges
I've been playing in-you would not know that I lost my mojo for 2 years).
Then the little display of all the challenges
I still have to/want to participate in.
Here is a collage of the cards I've made since last weeks WOYWW

EDIT: P.S. I managed to visit everyone who visited me but never got any further, this week I aim to get to everyone's blog. BTW I was #53 but in 12 hours I became #51, somehow we lost 2 on the way.

PDCC117

Play Date Cafe Challenge #117
I find it very hard to make plain and simple cards
so I thought I'd use PDCC117 to try
I used Layers of colours Elegant Labels and
Kaiser Craft Chapter One flourish
stamped in Stazon on perspex.
The flower is made with 3 flower punches.
Sentiment is from Layers of Colours

FYI Challenge #23, Anything Goes #50

This weeks FYI Challenge #23 was a very challenging one to do,
as soon as I saw it I thought of our beautiful Sydney Opera House

it also reminded me of our beautiful native flower Waratah
...and this is what I came up with, using Spellbinders Anemone Flower Topper SKU:S5-067
