Water, Water, Water everywhere

Friday Fences #23 and Skywatch Friday Season 5, Episode 34
This is the pond at the back of my house, its a water catchment area that flows downstream towards our dam that gets treated for our drinking water. It has rained and rained and rained this whole week and is not about to let up, there are flood warnings out and towns near us have been evacuated,
Those floaty red thingys is to stop anyone going over the edge at the far top of the picture to the right
This is the edge but you cant see it for all
the water that is flowing over it.
This is the street light at 9am, it was very confused, normally it goes off at 6am, notice there is no sky!
This is the lake and its made an island and the sky is
one smooth cloudy canvas

  11. thinking of you and those around there and 75% of Australia; it's a huge percentage isn't it?! Who'd have thought but then the wonderful poem includes "in droughts and flooding rains" comes to mind. I hope you aren't affected personally Bridget.
