Ivan and Ngans Wedding cards

My favourite sister requested I post the cards we made for my brother and sister in law's wedding in December 2014, so I must oblige her. Its great we that we share a hobby together, such a same that we are separated by an ocean-she lives in New Zealand. What a lot of trouble we would get into - craft-wise- if we lived on the same continent.

That is my card above, we made it the night before the wedding, no pressure!!! As my friend Sandra M says, I create better under pressure lol. I made the bow using my Bowmaker.

This is my sisters creation, it is huge, she said she likes making large cards, I should have taken a photo of both cards together to compare the size.

There are 5 of us siblings. The two brothers in the photo above are twins, as mischievous as twins can be when they were young but absolutely adorable.
The married couple Ivan and Ngan, and did I say she was a good cook? Its an understatement, she is an awesome cook. I'll just move to the back of the line in the cooking stakes behind everyone else.

T for Tuesday

My favourite morning tea is this sesame ball with paste in it. It is so yummy when its fresh, the outer skin is so soft and crunchy at the same time. My usual Rooibox tea in my favourite tiny tea cup from Thailand.
Teapots from the store on the Gold Coast hinterland as mentioned in THIS post, that I will be showcasing to you each week.

T for Tuesday

My sister came to visit from New Zealand for my younger brother's wedding in December. She loves this tea called Lemon Myrtle Green Tea which she can't get so I got her every box on the shelf at my local supermarket and brought it home and decorated it into a tree design for her. I do not like this tea hahaha so no fear of me wanting any for myself.

Last week I showed you where we went for 4 days of R & R and found this lovely tea shop in the Gold Coast Hinterland. The teapots were exquisite. I will be showing you photos each week from this shop. We avoided the fudge section of course LOL.

Down to Earth - Cleaning the Pantry

Rhonda Hetzel of Down to Earth put out a challenge to clean out our pantries. I took up that challenge because my pantry is driving me up the wall. This is Rhonda's Challenge post and this is her revamped pantry all neat and tidy. As you can see I cant find a thing in my pantry hahaha but I know where it all is.

So here is my pantry before the makeover:
Top Shelf

Middle Shelves

Bottom Shelves
As you can see I have cardboard on all shelves, I used to have butchers paper but it keeps moving. So this time I cut up all the boxes that all our goods came in and lined the shelves. The shelves with the have something leaked on the cardboard so will have to make another shelf protector. Of course its going to take me longer to fix my shelves instead of the week that Rhonda gave us.

WOYWW #293

I've discovered why my desk is very boring compared to a lot of you, I have serious OCD when it comes to my working desk, when I finish a project I put everything away. When I first started stamping I didn't usually do that and everything would pile up and it made me lose my mojo to be so untidy on my desk. I remember having to create on my desk the size of a 12 x 12 space.
So behind me are two tables and shelves that hold what I currently use and any newly acquired stash, this desk is on the left.....
.......this is to the right, the folders to the bottom right hold my Design Team projects for each team I am in. Darkroom Door Stamps newly acquired to play in Swaps this year hopefully.

To answer a question last week about the mystery bag on my desk and its contents, sorry to say there is no cake in there Julia, it is protecting the base of my light when I am spraying product....teee heee

T for Tuesday

I've been AWOL for a few weeks with Design Team Commitments and missed you all. Some cards I have made for these teams can be seen HERE, HERE and HERE. I invite you card makers and scrapbookers and creators to come along and play and win some prizes as well.

Last week we went for an R & R weekend down to the Gold Coast Hinterland at a place called Mt Tambourine. We stayed at a B and B called Aaronlee Retreat. It has the most beautiful view and is so tranquil, we would definitely go back again. Even the rain was magical to hear the sound on the roof while indoors as we were having a massage was just amazing beyond words.

There were lots of shops that took us 4 hours to walk through and that was only half the shops on one side of the road. It was a multinational mountain consisting of Polish, Bavarian, Irish etc restaurants and cafes that one could eat from. We weren't there long enough to visit everyone. The one disappointment was that not many of them were open for dinner and I can understand why, its not a good place to drive up to at night with the winding roads.

Above is the tea set that was in our retreat that I just had to photograph as it was so nice.

My desk is not too untidy with just left overs of the cards I've made and some dies from Spellbinders and usual crafting stuff that belong to my desk area. Of course I cant show my desk while its creating Design Team stuff.

My oldest daughter gave me this book for Christmas, I will enjoy going through it's pages. I think I may have contributed to this book many times over. Do you have an autocorrect you have sent that you want to share? I'd love to read it.
