WOYWW 346 Been missing in action

Did you miss me? Probably not, I didn't miss me either LOL but thats ok. Whew how time flies, the last WOYWW I played in was Nov 11. To tell you the truth my desk has been a huge mess since then and I had nothing to show, so I stayed away.  I took these photos on Saturday and did a humungous clean up over 2 days and many hours of sore legs and back from standing up so long.
Before and after photos of the dining table/craft desk.
Now look at it, had a new sheet of paper and is spick and span and the tell tale signs that I am having people over to craft.
My cutting station and the desk by the door has been another dumping ground. Hubby was disgusted by it hahaha. What is his problem, it's not like he has to work in here. He only walks past all the tables and goes to the toilet and probably checks on me to see if I am alive hahahaha.
Voila!!! I can cut again and have space to lay stuff down if I need but that desk below will soon become a dumping ground as it always does.

Under the desks got a facelift too lol. I could not walk inside the door at one stage, forgot to take a photo of that. Now to tackle the rest of the tables.

  13. You have the most amazing work space - so much of it - and of course that means when it all gets out of hand you have double the amount of tidying and organizing than most people have!! You are doing a great job! Thanks so much for stopping by my desk (I sometimes frame my little collages and sell them, but more often than not they go in an old suitcase full of finished work and are never seen again!), I hope you have a great week,

  15. It's always good to RE-arrange...my problem is it takes a long time to find something that was just right there. You have a good sized space, no matter it always seems to be overwhelming...and I am glad it is not just me. I had the urge to re do when I got out Valentine items but takes too long and I miss creating..has been so cold here my crafty area wasn't so fun to be in. Have a great week #33

  19. It's so much fun having loads of stuff isn't it. My studio is a mess right now but at least I can find things, if I tidy things will be lost and I will have to spend ages looking for stuff. Enjoy your crafting, your friends will have a great time in your studio. Jill #21

  20. Hi Bridget, lovely to see you back. It's so easy to start dropping stuff onto a table, rather than putting it away. isn't it? Then it becomes a major job to tidy. I know, I keep doing it! Have a great week, hugs, Shaz #16 xx

Yes, you have been missed, but over the holiday period we have all been busy with other things...so it's great to see you back (I've been missing too)

  24. Transformations all around - such a difference!
Misti is a great stamping tool. It enables you to stamp in the same place time and time again so is great for solid images that you normally don't get good coverage on, or for batch cards where you want to make lots of the same and line them up. Look at "My Sweet Petunia" for details - can recommend. Tell her I sent you.
Hugs and thanks for the visit - Neet 3 xx

  25. I did miss you, Bridget, and it is nice to see you back. I think it is the nature of crafting that to make something a mess has to be the result! And you have such a large craft room with so many surfaces you get to make more mess :) You've clearly worked really hard - bet your husband is impressed by your newly organised craft room. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #48

  26. Hi Bridget,
I've been MIA like you. Sometimes life gets in the way (with me it's also work) and we have to prioritize. It's nice that you have friends you can craft with. That's one thing that is lacking for me. There is a knitting shop in town and people go there during certain times to visit and knit, which I plan to start doing.

    Congrats on being Number One!
    Happy WOYWW
    Peace,

  33. Definitely missed you Bridget, but it looks like you've been busy. Everyone seems to be having a spring clean this week. I spotted that chest under your cutting station too, it looks beautifully carved.
Thanks for stopping by earlier. It's hard to think you are warm and sunny when we are still shivering. I think I need to spend half the year in Australia and half here and then it'd be summer all the time, perfect!!

  37. Hi Bridget! Thanks so much for stopping by earlier - I'm a fairly recent addition to the WOYWW family, so it's lovely to 'meet' you. You have a fantastic workspace and it's even more impressive now that it's tidy and you can see what you have! Enjoy it!

  42. Wow Bridget, you've got an amazing space there. Love the before and after pics. I've been on that journey in my studio too recently and was MIA for a while too! It's good to get organised again, isn't it. Thank you for your nice comment. The brainless knitting makes slow progress, and I hope to use the chicken packaging texture once my mojo returns!

    Happy belated WOYWW,
