Today is National Scrapbooking Day
The first Saturday in May is NSD, first started in 1994 by a well known album company
Creative Memories, there are even online groups petitioning in the US to make it a federal holiday! Imagine that.
I have created a few pages for this day which I need to photograph when I find my camera
re-charger which has gone AWOL.
Some suggestions on how to celebrate NSD:
Some suggestions on how to celebrate NSD:
1. Find out if there is a crop or Scrap Booking Party locally or join an online National Scrapbook Day Crop
2. Why not go shopping, preferably at a Local Craft Store or online if you live remotely, there is bound to be sales on or events happening.
3. Collect Freebies online or blogs you have subscribed to.
4. Organise your supplies and photos, you'll go through some wonderful memories with the photos and inspire yourself with supplies you have have 'lost' or forgotten you even had.
5. Try a different technique or layout you've never done before.
6. Invite someone over to scrap and have them bring over some munchies or lunch/dinner and scrap all day long.
7. Get inspired, go online and search out layouts, supplies.
8. Take a photo or photos.
9. Use your favourite kit.
10. Fix a photo
Enjoy National Scrapbooking Day, see you next year!!
:-)
