Fold right and left side of paper to meet in the middle

Fold all 4 corners to meet the first fold line

Fold both left and right side to meet the middle line and turn over

Fold top and bottom up to the tip of the V shape

Tuck in the top and bottom right side into the left portion and it should overlap as in the photo below

Cards for the Troops

I am sending a call out for handmade Cards for the Troops, they can be generic cards or birthday cards with our without sentiments inside.
Missing You
Thinking of You
Love you
and cards they can write in to send back home

These will be boxed up and sent over to a Chaplain I went to school with over in Afghanistan, to give out to the troops to send back home to their families. If you'd like to contribute to this worthy cause and get more information, email me or leave a comment on this post with your email and I will contact you.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this worthy cause.
I will also be taking cards that have been sent to you that you do not know what to do with and remount onto a new backing card stock. Thank you to all those who have responded so far, your generosity and commitment knows no bounds and it will be appreciated far and wide by both the sender and recipient.
There are no news agencies or card shops where our military goes in war torn areas, so to show our appreciation for giving up their lives and time for us, this is how we show them in a small way that we  care.

Danny Nickerson

I saw this post from another crafter on facebook and because I do a lot of my cards and send them off to charity I thought this would be an awesome cause.

Danny Nickerson

If you would like to send a card address it to:
Danny Nickerson
P.O. Box 212
Foxboro, MA 02035

The link takes you to an article about Danny Nickerson and why he'd like cards for his birthday.

So dig deep everyone, I am sure you have a spare card that would make a 6 year old battling cancer make his day a great one.

And don't  stop at that, send him cards in the future while he goes through his illness and treatment to keep him going.
