Went to the markets again on Saturday, to one of our favourites called Carseldine Markets
I love the ginger beer stall, I get a bottle every time we go there. The left bottle is Strawberry, the middle is Raspberry but they didn't have any labels made for it and the bottle on the right is Coconut flavoured ginger beer. The normal ginger beer is very gassy so these home made ones are less gassy ad very nice. The only thing I don't like is the kefir flavour.
We got breakfast, my favourite Malaysian Chicken curry and Canai. Michael had cheese and bacon Canai which is a bread that is amazing to watch when they make it.
Teapots from Mount Tambourine
Joining Elisabeth and Bluebeard for T for Tuesday
Mmm mmm mmmmm! Your drinks and especially your food look so very appetising. Happy T Day :o)
ReplyDeleteOK, I'm totally confused. Is that real beer or like root beer? What is kefir culture? Apparently it affects the taste of the drink. Not quite as confused on the food. It looks delicious, even though I've never heard of the bread. Seriously! Looks like I need to do a few internet searches to keep up with you (Grin).
ReplyDeleteAs always, your teapots are wonderful. Bleubeard especially liked the cats and gave them two paws up. Thanks for sharing these drinks, your wonderful food, and the tea sets with us for T this Tuesday.
Great teopots and yummie food and drinks-
ReplyDeleteGREAT!
Happy T-Day!
Bridget I brew my own Kefir all the time and have come to love it. I have friends who make it into a ginger beer type of drink, but I love it made simply with lemon. The food looks yummy!!

Oh you made me hungry with the luscious photos of lunch! Ginger beer sounds interesting...I guess it is a soft drink like root beer? and gorgeous tea pots! happy T day! ♣
ReplyDeleteOooh you've got my mouth watering with that gorgeous food, Bridget! Soooo envious!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your encouraging comment. The first postponement was definitely for a reason (to give us the fortnight's rest that we so craved but were denied by Mum's obdurate refusal to go into respite care till the last minute) so I have no doubt the second will be for an equally good one! Still, it is very frustrating being put off like this, not just once, but twice. There's a huge phsyching up process that goes on and to be let down at the last minute is very wearing and exhausting. I just want it all over now.
