Garden Club page 1

Some of you know I attend gardening and Permaculture Groups on Southern Moreton Bay Islands consisting of Macleay,  Karragarra, Lamb and Russell Islands.

On Tuesday this week, the two garden groups I attend had a combined end of year Christmas party that was a blast. What made it even more exciting to attend was the garden we went to. Joanne started her garden 4 years ago (same time we bought our house) and the work and effort she has put into her garden has paid off in a spectacular way. Nothing was planted via cuttings, all were bought.

You can see the work and love Joanne has put into her garden by the gorgeous flowers and visually pleasing landscape. She said she knew nothing about gardening prior to this venture, so it gives us all hope. There was not one bug eaten plant that I could see, a truly Permaculture delight.

Please enjoy the visual deliciousness of Joanne's garden. Because this is photo heavy, I have put the photos in a few posts (I could not choose a few so have put in all the photos I took).

This is Angels Trumpet, a few of us discussed how deadly this plant is, so be careful if you want to plant

The view across the bay was spectacular
