its been a long time between postings, life has taken over. I can't believe it was 4 years ago since I posted anything.
Gardening has taken a back seat while the weather is atrociously hot and humid and unbearable, this year has been the worst.
So February is the Month of letters where we write a letter or postcard a day to anyone, friends, penpals, family. Every year I'vre attempted this and failed, life got in the way. this year I was determined to complete 28 letters for the month.
So far I've been on track and posted 20 letters in 12 days.
Then I saw a post for 100 day project and my curiosity got the better of me. Basically you choose a project to do over a 100 days, it doesn't have to be consecutive days.
The project I picked is Origami because I love that. paper and folding. I think it was harder to find 100 projects to fold lol.
I delved into my history of folding and old favourites came to mind.
I am going to start with my favourite flower to make: Kusudama

At the point it needs to be glued with a glue gun, I picked the thickest cardstock I could put my hands on, dont do that hahahaha, pick something softer. I have a hard time finding origami paper. anyway this flower needs a sturdier paper than 80gsm, probably something like 100gsm
