What's on your Workdesk Wednesday
I'm alarmed at how fast the days are going and that this is the last Wednesday of January already
Anyway this is what I've been up to lately, discovered a new flower with punches that was shown to me at my local stamp club MSG by the lovely Judy Carberry.
These flowers were made with Stampin Up punches
(added 27 Jan-I will post up a tutorial on these flowers as so many of you have asked about it)

These ones were made with other punches, slight difference
So thats on my desk this week, as well as still making those photoboxes for gifts. Those yellow and pink edge die strips are for and of course I've been watching the Australian Open Tennis while crafting.
Beautiful aray of flowers!Cheers up the day especialy here in Norfolk damp, cold dismal

Oh wow - look at all that desk space!! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove those flowers, Bridget. My desk is tidy - I spent the afternoon the other day sorting and tidying, and the stuff that was coming to get me on the floor has had to back off - for now :-)
Blessings

Such a flower display! They are so pretty. Hope you enjoy using them...
ReplyDeleteHi there Bridget, I am amazed you can keep up on the Open and craft cant do that myself...but did watch some of the great tennis. it was really great to see some of the matches but cant stand the grunters and the screamers ... do love your crafty space though - and my post did go up as you said so thanks for sorting that out dear friend happy WOYWW! Shaz in oz.x
ReplyDeleteMan, those flowers are beautiful, hard to believe they were made with punches. There has been talk on a FB page I'm on about stamping up punches being the bees knees, you've proved that!
ReplyDeleteI get to miss the Australian Open as they play while I'm asleep. But I'm sure the semis and final will be on TV especially if Andy gets through. He's an honourary Brit when he's winning but Scottish when he loses!

Your space looks quite organized, Bridget! And I LOVE those flowers! Is there a tutorial somewhere...of course that would mean I would have to buy punches. ;-)
ReplyDeleteNice comparison between the flowers--very pretty, too!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, gorgeous flowers and I can't believe they are from punches. Will have to check out the stampin up punches. I don't buy a lot of punches but these seem perfect as I buy a lot of flowers. How many punches do you have to buy to be able to create the flower?
ReplyDeleteHowdy Bridget,
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
I'm back after being MIA since November.
Your flower artwork is spectacular! you've inspired me! What kind of paper did you punch? They look like fabric!
Would love for you to stop by my blog when you have a moment or 2.
Peace,
LuLu

Fun flowers! They look like the expensive ones you can buy at the scrapbook store. And made just with punches you say? You must spill the beans on how to make them!
