Spring is here in the Southern Hemisphere and Wedding fever is in the air. What better way to celebrate this season by making a Wedding Present to give to the lovely couple. The gorgeous couple who kindly lent me their Wedding photos to use is my cousin Sarah and her husband David.
I designed this project as part of
The base is made using a coffee bottle that I wrapped in a strip of Designer Paper from Kaisercraft Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden range called Flower Blooms. The circles surrounding each photo was cut using Spellbinders Nestabilites Decorative Elements Stately Circles S4-388
The top was covered in the smallest of Spellbinders Grand Nestabilites - Grand Decorative Circles One LF-015. Butterflies were made from Spellbinders Grand Shapabilities by Donna Salazar Wonderful Wings LF-006. Pearls by Want2Scrap and Kaisercraft. I used skewers wrapped in dotted ribbon to hold the photos.
Lace is from Green Tara.
Flowers were made with Spellbinders by Donna Salazar Bitty Blossoms S5-086 and edged with Tsukineko Memento Rich Cocoa Me-000-800 and Desert Sand Me-000-804.
The edge of the bottom and top of the Photo Vase was made with Spellbinders Shapeabilities Persian Accents S5-078 which I folded in a concertina fashion. I used 3 lengths for the top and 3 for the bottom and joined together most pieces using a hot glue gun and Xyron
This is spectacular Bridget - well done! Love the way you have pleated the edging to give such a dramatic and lacy look to the project.
