HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY WOYWW
Who would have thought that a photo of a desk all those years ago would create this extraordinary following.
Well my desk is featuring creative card making for the soldiers. I do cards for them every year.
It is very gratifying to know that we can help them send something from home and they can then send a greeting back to their families.
As well as cards we make other stuff to send as well, we are also making little stockings to put candy cane or life savers in it.
I had help from Dayle and Faye who kindly offered to lend a hand, we had a fun day.
I do love my new craft area for visitors, my own craft area is a huge mess at the moment, maybe I'll share it next week

What a wonderful collection of cards and socks. Looks like you had a really fun day! hugs-Erika

What a fab result, real piles of finished cards. My word it’s such a nice space to work in, no wonder your friends were lost in colouring. Love the long shot showing off the China on the dresser...I wouldn’t mind a tour of that sometime! Thanks for contributing, happy t9 have you here.
ReplyDeleteNext WOYWW I'll show you whats in my China cabinet Julia

ReplyDeleteHappy 10th Anniversary of this wonderful WOYWW concept! Your craft desks - DESKS!!! - look amazing and what a truly wonderful idea to send the cards and little gifts to the soliders ... I can imagine how much they would really appreciate that. Have a great day, although I guess it is nearly over for you now! Love Debbie #25 xXx
ReplyDeleteHello Bridget. Yes, long time no see indeed. But good to welcome you today of all special days. My goodness - you and your friends were incredibly busy - well done. I'm sure that, indeed, the soldiers are thrilled to receive your parcel of goodies when you send it off. Had to chuckle at your comment. "Wall heater"? I thought... What wall heater? Then I realised you meant the radiator at the top of the stairs - part of the central heating.. My space for crafting is unusual, as it is the landing space at the top of the stairs in my home. VERY useful in the wintertime!
ReplyDeleteTake care. Happy 10th anniversary. God bless.
