Friday Fences #6
Well I found out last weekend from my neighbour
that this state we live in has a law that you don't
have front fences in houses. Fat chance I've
got of finding a fence to photograph each week!
Before I found out this information I went for
a walk and found this very unusual fence over our back fence.
On closer inspection it seemed to house and
protect a wall of graffiti

Then I saw this sign inside the fencing.
ok something LIVE is in there RUNNNNN!!!

ReplyDeleteA very strange fence, indeed! How sad to not be able to have a front fence if you want one. So many old iron railings in the old towns in this area that are attractive and would be missed.

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing electrocution and subsequent lawsuit prevention. However, if that were truly the case, then I would have thought they'd figure a way to keep someone from jumping in from the topside.

Always a comfort to know that there's something "live" behind such a serious barricade? :-) Glad we don't have fence police in our neighborhood--we're kind of live and let live--the best way to go, I think.
