More pictures from my stamp camp
This table held all the door prizes, some gorgeous prizes there.
This exquisite head was designed by Sue Smyth the teacher who taught us that weekend. Absolutely stunning!! Was going to ask her why her stuff wasn't entered into our EKKA show then I saw on her blog that she is a judge on the show in the craft section.
This lady did the most exquisite book and cards, I can't remember her name.
Above and below are the show and tell table, again stunning stuff made by the ladies.
I've started a project called A Postcard a Day, I hope you can join me. I also hope I get enough postcards to be able to keep this up everyday, will you help me? You can send your postcard to:

I would be delighted to swap a postcard with you in return. I am hoping to collect a postcard from every corner of the world. It would make my day/month/year. So if you are going to send me a card please write WOYWW on it so I can show yours off on Wednesdays, and also identify what country it's coming from and acknowledge it.
Joining Julia's Stamping Ground for more views of craftiness around the world. I have been trying to visit most desks but last few weeks have been hectic and I will try again this week, thanks to those that visit.

Such gorgeous work! I'd feel slightly inadequate among that lot.... The head the teacher made is exquisite. It was called stamp camp but I assume it wasn't all about stamping....

ReplyDeleteWhat stunning photos, Bridget. A stamp camp sounds such a cool idea! I've never seen anything like those chapagne pools before - that is soooo beautiful!!!!! Australia certainly has some amazing sites, doesn't it. Thank you for your lovely comment - the author of the book is delighted with my offering, and this a.m. I sent all the files direct to the publisher, asking permission to put them on my blog, so as soon as I get the go-ahead, I'll be posting them, so "watch that space" lol! It's very exciting to get published.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,

Stunning works from the stamp camp tables, my word. It's great that your calendars are talking to you again, gotta love that about crafting.
ReplyDeleteWhat stunning work the ladies have done - very inspirational! I absolutely love the card Judy sent you. I don't think I have ever seen anything similar for Scotland but I will have to have a look around ... if I find one I'll be delighted to send it to you. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #37
ReplyDeleteLooks like you saw some amazing projects on your stamp camp! Love the wildlife card! Ali #9
ReplyDeleteHi Bridget, hope to have a postcard for you soon. We are on the East Coast at the moment, staying in a hotel with quite a mixed history. It was originally built in 1860 and started as a hotel but has also been a care home and was taken over for a while by the RAF. Think you will like it. They have postcards so will get you one before we leave. Have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 20
ReplyDeleteBridget, what a great prize table! Looks like a great stamp camp. And all the projects are just gorgeous. I have never been to a stamp camp, before. Neat project, collecting post cards from all over the world. I have a collection of postcards that I had gotten in my early childhood. I need to get them out and make a special album for them. Happy WoyWW! $48
ReplyDeleteAwww Bridget, my fan club in Australia! Thank you for such a awesome comment! I am so glad you enjoyed my latest Zentangle. It's really high time I did some more, isn't it. I am very thrilled indeed to be published, and who knows where it might lead? As yet, I don't know what the title of the book will be, but the publisher tells me they are aiming at next May for publication. There will be more news on my blog as I get it, I promise. Her other books are available on Amazon, and they are published with an international readership in mind, so they should be available everywhere.

Wow, there certainly are some talented ladies here in Brisbane. The work is just amazing, I bet you had a fabulous time. I was thinking of buying some of those postcards that you colour yourself. If I do get them and have time to colour them, I might try and join in the postcard post. Have a great week, it's spring at last, yay...
