I would be delighted to swap a postcard with you in return. I am hoping to collect a postcard from every corner of the world. It would make my day/month/year. So if you are going to send me a card please write WOYWW on it so I can show yours off on Wednesdays, and also identify what country it's coming from and acknowledge it.
Oh Bridget I love those post cards - the English sense of humour is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYour colouring page look great - I treated myself to a book, and have hardly done anything :-)....yet

Hi Bridget! Adult coloring books are all the rage here in the Philippines too! Some are really expensive and then there are the copycats from China which are flooding the market. Have you got a postcard from the Philippines? Can't even remember if I have sent you one already (senior moments), but I'll be happy to send you one! Happy WOYWW! patsy
ReplyDeleteBridget, your colouring is beautiful, I used to enjoy doing it when I was younger.
ReplyDeleteI love those post cards, will see what I can find for you next time I go somewhere to buy one.

ReplyDeleteThat's going to take a lot of colouring Bridget. It's looking very good. Looking at those holiday postcards takes me back to being a child. Barb #24
ReplyDeleteHi Bridget, so pleased you enjoyed the cards. Skegness was well known at one time for the funny ones but due to the increases in postage charge they are now quite difficult to get hold of so these may become quite collectable in the future. Love the colouring page and hope you enjoy completing it. Sending hugs, hope you have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 27
ReplyDeleteThe stores are flooded with those coloring books here as well. I like the image you are working on, very inspiring! The PC's are a hoot! Have not seen anything like them.
ReplyDeleteAdult coloring books seem to be all the rage! Your coloring skills are still good! You also have some pretty post cards. Thanks so much for sharing!

ReplyDelete2 Fun things you are doing...I cannot get involved in any more new things, away from my fabric, lace and paper crafting..visiting blogs..... a statement I keep telling myself...but we all like to broaden our horizens ! I've kept your address, will check out post cards have enjoyed Lisca's blog also the variety is endless. Happy WOYWW
ReplyDeleteI haven't try one of those yet :) it looks so beautigul! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, those adult colouring books have certainly hit our shops over here. I am sure Shaz (Brooks) will find it restful to complete some of those pages whilst recuperating from her op.
ReplyDeleteNow the mystery of the kitchen roll - you mentioned it last week also Obviously you have not watched a Dyan Reaveley You Tube. Dyan lives close(ish) to me so I have done a few workshops with her. When she has sprayed a page in a journal with ink, or used a stencil with ink sprayed through it she rolls a full kitchen roll over the top of the page to soak up the excess. She also wraps a stencil around it to clean it off after using ink. So my half orange one has been used in one of those ways. When I get time I will do some more pages and then you might see it change colour.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx
