My sister came to visit from New Zealand for my younger brother's wedding in December. She loves this tea called Lemon Myrtle Green Tea which she can't get so I got her every box on the shelf at my local supermarket and brought it home and decorated it into a tree design for her. I do not like this tea hahaha so no fear of me wanting any for myself.
Last week I showed you where we went for 4 days of R & R and found this lovely tea shop in the Gold Coast Hinterland. The teapots were exquisite. I will be showing you photos each week from this shop. We avoided the fudge section of course LOL.
Joining Bluebeard and Elizabeth for T for Tuesday
Now that is what I call sisterly love!!! never tried this tea, but organic and green tea all sound good to me... such a thoughtful gift!
ReplyDeleteWhat a thoughtful thing for you to do. I bet your sister was delighted. I like the look of that shop. I see a camper van tea pot that I'm sure I would simply HAVE to buy. Happy T Day :o)
ReplyDeleteIt is like a little tea shrine! You are the best. Can't wait to see the teapots.
ReplyDeleteOfcourse you avoided the fudge section... I would have made a valiant effort but i think i would have lost....lol Look forward to the pictures! Happy Tday! Hugs! deb

I'm quite taken by those teapots. I'd find it hard to walk away without buying one :)
ReplyDeleteGood one Bridget, I think I am with you on the green tea front... tastes pretty weird!! LOL Love the teapot shop... wouldn't have had the will power to avoid the fudge though... Annette
ReplyDeleteThat tea tree is wonderful. I'm super impressed with how you incorporated it into your Christmas decorations, too. Pretty awesome. I'm not big on green tea, because I am a BIG fan of caffeine, something green tea lacks.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous shop. I would be in heaven. I really liked the bus. It was clever. Thanks for sharing these AND your sister's gift for T with us this Tuesday.
what a beautiful presentation of those tea boxes for your sister-very creative! That tea sounds very good to me. Looking forward to seeing more of that darling tea shop too. I'm wondering if you bought anything there:):) Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteCute T Tree! I'm sure your sister was both surprised and happy! Those tea pots are awesome--I'm sure at least a few would have jumped into my suitcase! Thanks for sharing!

Love the green tea tree for T for Tuesday lol lol!! What fun. I love the teapots in the shop window too. I have a few collectable teapots which are eccentric and fun. Look forward to seeing some more pics!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely and encouraging comment, Bridget. Yes, I am blessed indeed to have such a saint for my hubby! Somehow we will get through this, whatever the outcome. It's a huge bore having to make room for it in my life but there's no getting around it, over it or under it - through it is the only way. I am determined not to allow myself to make castles in the air (especially worst case scenario ones) and together we will face what comes, day by day.
Prayers mean more to me than anything. Thank you so much!!
Shoshi
