I've been AWOL for a few weeks with Design Team Commitments and missed you all. Some cards I have made for these teams can be seen HERE, HERE and HERE. I invite you card makers and scrapbookers and creators to come along and play and win some prizes as well.
My desk is not too untidy with just left overs of the cards I've made and some dies from Spellbinders and usual crafting stuff that belong to my desk area. Of course I cant show my desk while its creating Design Team stuff.
My oldest daughter gave me this book for Christmas, I will enjoy going through it's pages. I think I may have contributed to this book many times over. Do you have an autocorrect you have sent that you want to share? I'd love to read it.
Joining Julia's Stamping Ground to view more desks around the world and what their owners are up to.
Hey, clean your work space off! :P
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at that book. I don't have auto correct, but I have spell check. Still, it doesn't catch everything. I bet many of these will be fun to read as the year progresses.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind visit. You DO NOT need to type anything except your comment, then hit publish, because this is Google's way of tricking you into thinking you need to type that bit.
your space looks very busy - mine should be but it's feeling uninspired! Love the auto correct book - you do see some great ones, don't you..
ReplyDeleteSo...I commented on the wrong blog! I have that address in my blog roll...need to make some changes, I guess! ;-)
ReplyDeleteYour desk looks like you have been busy.
ReplyDeleteYour book looks like hours of good laughs. I have spell check and, like Elizabeth, it still doesn't catch everything. I do have Auto Correct on my cell, and messages can sometimes be boggling.....sending and receiving......LOL You will have to share some of the funnies you find in the book.

I like all the cards you made, especially the New Year's Eve card and the tartan writing on the All Round January card is quite special. I LOVE autocorrects! Enjoy your book:) Lucy #11
ReplyDeleteThat book will give a lot of laughs
ReplyDeleteYou desk look tidy to me - so much area to work in! lol
ReplyDeleteWell look at that, a working desk! Love the chevron die..and what's in the bag at centre top...just the right shape to be a cake!! Hope you're enjoying your DT commitments.
ReplyDeleteAnd PS...the Robot thing is on all Blogger blogs, forced, not by choice. if you blog via blogger, you can just submit your post as normal and bypass the Verification.
Great desk this morning. I'm very curious about the bag at the top of the photo. Don't tease like that! Happy WOYWW!

It looks like you have been very busy!! :D Always a good thing! I don't have a "smart" phone as I'm not smart enough to use one, lol! If I ever did text, I'm sure I would fill up a book all on my own though.
ReplyDeleteHappy Crafting!

Nice to see an active workdesk :-) ! I think that book will be funny, as I hate writing SMS from my phone (I don´t have a smart phone and don´t want one) and I believe it is a challenge for many people.

Oh I do like that Shattered glass die. I can see the potential in it. And I am ALWAYS frustrated by autocorrect. It never seems to pick the word I intended :)
ReplyDeleteHappy First WOYWW of 2015!
Mary Anne (15 - just a lucky coincidence)
Hi Bridget, congrats on being a TM at three blogs.wow you'll be busy. I'm sure I'll be popping in to join in the fun. Cool book, yep I bet we've all made some bloopers. Cheers RobynO#31
ReplyDeletethat book sounds hilarious, well done for the design team projects.
ReplyDeletesandra de @14
I bet that book is brilliant - I've had a fair few auto correct bloopers in my time! Congrats on the DT commitments, hope it's all gone well. Happy new Year btw!

Your desk looks nice and busy. Francesca #46
ReplyDeleteLove your desk and that book made me giggle. The worst autocorrect is when Apple tries to make my Afrikaans words English. I have made some hilarious mistakes whn sending messages and not reading it before I hit send.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!
Tertia #22
I have the same problem as Tertia: my ipad is quite happy with english words ( or perhaps I just haven't doublechecked for mistakes...) but it makes a mess when I write in Finnish. Love your busy workplace!
ReplyDeleteYour desk looks fun...and some new items laying there ? I'm not a fan of the Auto Correct on my new phone...have to read up on that. #54..trying to stay warm and inside.. Best Wishes for the New Year.
ReplyDeleteHi Bridget,
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being number one! I published my post then forgot to link up until this morning. Your desk looks nice and productive; I love those scissors! I can imagine how fun the book is. I've had my fair share of auto corrects that are just so dang funny - or frustrating.
I'm having a giveaway so stop by.
Happy WOYWW,
Peace, Kay (61)
Look at all of those creative goodies on your desk! LOVED the sneak peek! Have a lovely week! :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes, my phone comes up with the most ridiculous suggestions, and as I send messages in several different languages I really have to be careful what I send (and remember to change language, which I often forget). I bet that book is so funny!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,
Lisca#25
What a wonderfully busy desk, so full of goodies :-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings
Maxine
You seem to be steaming ahead with all your DT work, good for you and a productive desk too. I have logged on late this week, but better late than never.

Hi Bridget, Happy WOYWW. I will check out those links and see if I have anything I can enter now.
ReplyDeleteAs for Autocorrect, there have been loads of really funny ones if only I could remember any!
Cazzy #89
Hi Bridget, nice to see you. You have so many interesting things on your desk today but at least you still have room to push it all to one side which is more than can be said for mine Lol! I really must sort it soon. Have a happy crafty week, Angela x 39
