WOYWW 329

Working on 3 desks lately, this is my writing desk, letters on their way out the door, cook books on the left because I was in a recipe Round Robin where we all own a recipe book and send it to participants and they write or stick recipes in it and we get our books back full of recipes from around the world. The yellow book is one I just finished putting recipes in and will be posted.
Playing with my Dylusions spray and die templates to make awesome designs on envelopes

This envelope above to the left was decorated by mopping up the excess ink on the laminated sheet I have to protect my table. It made a pretty one of a kind envelope that you can't repeat again LOL
This desk had pocket letters on the go. I was testing out the Chameleon pens and colouring that candy cane in the book, it turned out well but the water colour paper bled too much. So going to try it on an envelope. The quotes to the right were ready to go in envelopes for my monthly envelope exchange that Jean Wilson runs. You can just see my Christmas CD I decorated with Lumieres, I was showing my friend how it is done, we can start to decorate them now as the weather is getting warmer. I have found you cannot do these CDs in winter, so its a seasonal design for sure LOL
My third desk downstairs that is, I fished out some lumiere and folk art paints as I was searching for my H2os, still cant find them LOL

  6. Wow! You are busy! The recipe book sounds interesting. But I'll see what the travelling notebook is like first. I have put my name down for a couple but no-one has asked me for my address yet so it will be a while before its my turn I guess.
The envelopes are awesome! And I love the idea of putting ATCs with quotes inside the envelope. I received a card yesterday in an envelope made of a calendar page. Very effective.
    Have a good week,

  7. And have you tried any recipes yet? Love the frame on the third table...you know there aren't many people who have the space to enjoy a table for each project - how lucky you have a shop sized craft room, it must be lovely to just switch desks. Those envelopes are dazzling - ill make the mail day so much happier for someone!

Great idea for envelopes...too bad the laminate sheet isn't a plain piece of card stock would make a great background. I'd love to start the pocket page exchange, just need to get past this season. 22. I've enjoyed looking at all your desks, I was just thinking how a technique can translate into different forms of art as I stamp through mesh, only on glass.
    Enjoy your week
